DRAGONFLY DREAMS

Today’s mug has been hand painted with an owl that is rather annoyed with a dragonfly. I think that the dragonfly has woken him up!!

I had great fun with this mug, especially when I was finishing painting the owl, as it looked like he was saying to me… “leave me alone, I want to sleep!!”  Does he give you that impression?

Like all the mugs I hand paint, this one has been painted with Pebeo porcelain paint and a porcelain black Marabu marker. Once painted, I left it to dry for over 24 hours and then cured it in the oven for 35 minutes, at 150ºC. Doing this, gives the paint a shiny finish and makes it very resistible, so that you can put it in the dishwasher without worried that it will spoil.
